Chat Channels
ClawCentral can talk to you on any chat app you already use. Each channel connects via ClawCentral's managed platform — no local server or CLI installation required. Text is supported everywhere; media and reactions vary by channel.
Supported channels
- BlueBubbles — Recommended for iMessage; uses the BlueBubbles macOS server REST API with full feature support (edit, unsend, effects, reactions, group management — edit currently broken on macOS 26 Tahoe).
- Discord — Discord Bot API + Gateway; supports servers, channels, and DMs.
- Google Chat — Google Chat API app via HTTP webhook.
- Matrix — Matrix Application Service protocol; direct messages and rooms.
- Microsoft Teams — Bot Framework; enterprise support via Azure Bot Service.
- Slack — Bolt SDK; workspace apps.
- Telegram — Bot API via grammY; supports groups.
- WhatsApp — Meta Business API (WhatsApp Business Platform).
- Zalo — Zalo Official Account (OA) webhooks; Vietnam's popular messenger.
Unavailable channels
The following channels are not available on ClawCentral's managed platform:
- Signal — Requires signal-cli, which depends on a local native process and is not feasible in a fully managed cloud environment.
- iMessage (native) — Requires direct access to Apple infrastructure. Use BlueBubbles for an iMessage-compatible setup.
Notes
- Channels can run simultaneously; configure multiple and ClawCentral will route per chat.
- Fastest setup is usually Telegram (simple bot token). WhatsApp requires Meta Business API approval.
- Group behavior varies by channel; see Groups.
- Credentials for all channels are set via Admin UI → Settings → Tenant Settings → Secrets.

- Model providers are documented separately; see Model Providers.
